White Sage Smudging Stick

Our White Sage is wrapped in cotton string and is about 4 inches long. Sage is used by holding one end of the bundle and carefully lighting the other end of the bundle. Once a flame starts burning, gently blow it out and watch as the smoke begins to release from the sage. This is when you can begin your "smudging" by gently waving the smoking sage in a clockwise motion around your body and/or around the space you are cleansing. As you are doing this you can also say a prayer, a mediation, or affirmation out loud or in your heart for your cleansing intention. 

Smudging with the smoke of white sage is ideal for cleansing negative energy, attracting positive energy and light when emotionally or spiritually tired, lacking motivation, ridding yourself of other people’s negative emotional energy, and renewal to start fresh after moving into a new home, after overcoming adversity, after an argument or after illness.
